Your Central Alberta Co-op Board of Directors is pleased to announce our new Central Alberta Co-op Sponsorship Program. This scholarship program has been developed to recognize the academic efforts, community service and spirit of cooperation demonstrated by students graduating high school as well as mature students. We are proud to offer 10 scholarships of $1,000.00 each for Grade 12 and mature students pursuing post-secondary education. 

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS:

• Eligibility: Applicant or immediate family must be a member of Central Alberta Co-op for at least one year and have made purchases exceeding $2,500.00 in the past year. The applicant or immediate family must reside in Central Alberta Co-op's trading area.
• Field of Study: There are no restrictions on the field of study or post-secondary institution.
• Application Period: Applications will be accepted April 1-30 of each year. Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 15.
• Required Documents:
  • School Transcripts
  • Two Community Reference Letters
  • One Education Reference Letter
  • Copy of official acceptance letter from post-secondary institution.
  • 200-500 word essay: "What does Central Alberta Co-op mean to me?" Typed, Arial 11, include word count at the bottom.

Scholarship application for can be found here: CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM on April 1. The application form is powered by the Do Some Good platform. Registration for the platform is required but there is no obligation to do anything other than submit your application.
