In 2024, we have two candidates for the three positions available. Therefore, an election is not required this year.

We appreciate the commitment and interest of the incumbents to represent our members for another term. Please take the opportunity to learn a little bit more about these two Board Directors.

My journey with Central Alberta Co-op began when I set my roots down in Innisfail almost 35 years ago. My husband and I have raised our two children here and our preferred shopping destination was Central Alberta Co-op. My career, ranging from the legal and post-secondary sectors, has led me to my current role as the Manager, Executive Operations at Red Deer Polytechnic. Armed with a Legal Assistant Diploma, Public Relations Diploma, and a Coop Director.D designation from the University of Saskatchewan and Federated Co-operatives Ltd., my commitment to the cooperative business model is unwavering.

Having served two terms on the Central AB Co-op Board of Directors, I've proven dedication to its core values: Integrity, Responsibility, and Community. Presently as Board President for the past four years and Chair of the Federated Co-operative Nominations Committee, my leadership extends beyond our local co-op. I've contributed to various community boards, including the Innisfail Municipal Library, Red Deer College, and Olds College Alumni Association, all of which have fostered a deep connection with the community.

Volunteering for large-scale events in central Alberta and serving on the 2013 World Plowing Championship Committee showcases my commitment to community engagement. Seeking re-election, I request your vote of confidence to continue representing all members of Central Alberta Co-op. My aim is to ensure sustainability for future generations, I am dedicated to meeting the needs of our association and members. Let's build on the proud history of our cooperative, owned and shaped by its members, as we work together towards a vibrant future.
